He has also served as a member of the National Board of Youth for Christ/USA. He is a contributor to The Life Application Bible, Husbands and Wives and Movies Worth Watching.
He was the lead Elder at Grace Fellowship Church in Timonium, MD and is now functioning as their Ministry Elder. In his spare time, Bob has always had a passion for coaching sports. He has coached his children in basketball, lacrosse, wrestling and soccer.
After retirement from MMYFC in 2013, he and his wife, Jeanne, began their own Ministry, The Meadow. He teaches adults in Spiritual Formation and through The Meadow mentors one-on-one to many key leaders. The Meadow also hosts many events featuring speakers that focus around the topic of Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Growth.
Bob is deeply passionate about helping people grow in Christ. He is also very passionate about reconciliation and healing. Knowing that we are created and loved by an unchanging, gracious and loving God, who only wants the best for us, is your first step! Growth doesn’t just come from lists of things to do or practice. It comes from building a personal relationship with Christ; having a desire to explore ourselves and come to the One who loves us with transparency and honesty. The Meadow is building a safe and nonjudgmental community of people who want to grow together to live life experiencing and sharing the love of God!
Many have felt pain and tragedy in their lives and Bob is very sensitive to these struggles, having had tragedy of his own with the loss of his daughter. His views on life’s hardships and triumphs are both encouraging and challenging!
He is a husband and father to 4 children and currently lives in Baltimore, Maryland. Bob’s passion remains, loving God and loving others.
“There is a burning in my heart right now that God has been preparing me for in the next season of my life. It is a passion that people would experience and live fully in the depth of God’s love.”
